Founded in 1850 by John Dixon Matthews, Matthews International is proud to be one of Pittsburgh’s oldest continually operating manufacturers. In our earliest years, Matthews produced stencils, signs, steel stamps, and other identification products. Today, Matthews’ architectural division offers cast plaques, ImageCast™ photographic reproductions, etched plaques, cast and cut letters, statuary, and color signage.
