Pedro Martinez's National Baseball Hall of Fame Plaque Unveiled

On July 26, 2015, Pedro Martinez was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.  Sculpted by Mindy Ellis and produced by Matthews International, the Hall of Fame plaque measures 10.75” by 15.5” and is cast in bronze with a bas-relief portrait of the honoree.

The Boston Globe article entitled “Here’s what it says on Pedro Martinez’s Hall of Fame plaque” features both Martinez’s sculpted image and text that highlights impressive career statistics on the Hall of Fame plaque.  Also included in the article is a video that shows how the plaque is created, emphasizing the handcraftsmanship.

Matthews International has been the exclusive producer of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum plaques for more than thirty years.
